Victor E. Aguilera

Victor E. Aguilera works out of O’Hagan Meyer’s Los Angeles office. He brings to engagements significant experience in litigation management with over 35 years of experience dedicated to resolution of insurance (bad faith) litigation for major insurance carriers.  Mr. Aguilera is extremely adept at communicating evidence and legal concepts, establishing professional credibility with attorneys on both sides of the case, and creating innovative solutions to achieve successful case resolution.

For over 20 years, Victor consulted and represented insurers as lead counsel against claims of bad faith and extra-contractual liability in California.   For the last 14 years, Victor held the position of Assistant Vice President and was responsible for the resolution of all extra-contractual claims filed against a leading multi-channel personal and business insurance carrier with over $18 billion in new business.

Victor received his Juris Doctorate through completion of California Apprenticeship Program in 1976. He received a Bachelor in Arts/Science in 1970 from City University of New York.
